​On a visit and meetings at BU wheelock in April of 2024, I created a flat miss lucy on a stick to bring with me to represent Wheelock in different pictures and areas. Later that day she ended up at Fenway Park and Alumni were so amused by it,
​I created a "Miss Lucy visits her historic Alumni" and she is currently on a 53+ stop tour across the world!

Well, Flat Lucy has arrived and joined me on my adventures today as a Professional Nanny in Worcester, MA! She had a blast and LOVED the opportunity to “Play All Day”! Flat Lucy got to know my little friend, Zena who is a 3.6 year old girl. Flat Lucy got quite the earful of all Zena had to share! 3 year old children have A LOT to talk about and Flat Lucy was a patient and kind listener.
Flat Lucy reminded me of my Wheelock Professor, Dr. Amelia Klein. It felt as though I was being “observed” by Flat Lucy as I was during my 300 practicum with Amelia. It seemed only appropriate to share my (very informal) weekly plans/thoughts with Flat Lucy.
I wonder what kind of feedback she would have given me.
I was proud to share this experience with her.
